Find your own fossils!
Service Description
A private tour for you and your group of up to 6 people to find your own fossils. With your tour guide, you will meet at one of the beautiful beaches on the Yorkshire Coast where you will have a safety briefing/conservation rules for the coast and a quick guide on what to look for on the beach before we get going. From that point on, it is your chance to fill your bags with your finds. Anything you find is yours to take home! The tour guide will work to maximise your finds and will share theirs with you, but they reserve the right to keep anything they find.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings are made for the date and time listed. The times are limited to +/- 3 hours around low tide for safety and the timings selected are a 4 hour window within that. We believe that 4hrs should be enough for most people but in the event you would like to hunt for longer please contact us to see if additional time can be added (at the tour guide's discretion, and additional costs may be incurred). We appreciate that situations may chance, and where possible we will work with you to rearrange dates/times where possible. Please let us know as soon as possible if your situations change. In the event the cancellation is due to adverse weather or an issue at The Cuff Fossil Co. we will first contact you to see if we can rearrange a date or offer a refund as preferred. Bookings are made by a single party for up to 6 individuals (larger groups may be considered at the tour leader's discretion). All individuals are expected to be fit and well enough that they can walk up to several kilometres including vertical climbs via steps/paths of up to 100m. You will be expected to have appropriate clothing/hydration/food for the weather conditions. Failure to follow these rules may result in cancellation of the tour and loss of the deposit.
