Our Fossil Story

Created in 2025 by palaeontologist Andrew Cuff, The Cuff Fossil Company was a chance to turn a lifelong passion for fossils and palaeontology into something that could be shared with others.

Embark on a journey through time and discover the ancient treasures hiding beneath our feet. Our tours are designed to provide an immersive experience where you can find your own fossils, whilst our shop offers a chance to own some meticulously prepared wonders. We also provide some specialised services for studying and reconstructing fossils for research, business or fun.

We had a fantastic fossil hunting trip with Andrew Cuff. From start to finish the whole experience was excellent.

Before the day, Andrew communicated brilliantly and sent a clear list of what we would need to bring, which made preparation really easy. He arranged a convenient nearby meeting point and was very flexible and responsive to the needs of our group.

On the hunt itself he was incredibly knowledgeable and explained what we were looking for and how to spot it. Thanks to his guidance we found lots of fossils! He was also very safety-conscious with the tides, which really put us at ease along the coastline. Andrew was friendly, well prepared and generous — he let us keep everything we found that day, which made it even more special.

The whole experience was really relaxing and mindful; we were completely engrossed in the activity the entire time. An excellent service all round and thoroughly recommended.
